The scientific activity is focused on studying the morphological and biomolecular alterations involved in neoplastic pathogenesis and on identifying the expression of proteins resulting from genetic and epigenetic alterations in order to search for biomolecular markers useful for diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy prediction in various neoplasms, particularly in colorectal, ovarian, and breast cancers.
